Science Composition notebook 3. 1 folder for homework and handouts 4. Paws agenda or any calendar to write down assignments 5. colored pencils (small box with about 8 colors) 6. Glue or glue sticks (used every day) I recommend a small bottle 7. Small hand size pencil sharpener 8. Eraser 9. 6 inch Ruler 10. 1 box of tissues 11. 1 box of plastic baggies any size AISD BLEND is used to communicate information about our projects, assignments, video clips, review notes and announcements. BLEND should always be accessed from the cloud or by setting up the App on a personal device. Google automatically uses the gmail assigned to each student through the district so you must sign on through the cloud. That email address should appear in the top right corner of your cloud screen when you log on. Policies for 7th grade science: Grading Policy: 40% Daily work (homework, labs, in class work), 60% Assessments (tests, quizzes). Homework: Work not completed in class should be completed for homework. At times, students are expected to complete projects and other work out of class. This work may be graded. Late Work Policy: Any assignment not completed by the beginning of the class period it is due, is considered late. Late assignments can be turned in for up to 3 days past the due date, but will receive a maximum grade of 70. Locker visits to retrieve work are NOT permitted. Absent work policy: Any make up work is due 3 days after returning to school. After 3 days a 0 (zero) will be entered in the gradebook. Test re-take policy: One Retake /alternate assignments are available for students who score below a 70 on tests . Please see Ms. Rice to arrange times and get a pass. Students can receive up to a 70 on retested material. |
